Planting a tree for every ticket sold on Earth Day

LIVE IT is now carbon neutral - and we're celebrating by planting a tree for every ticket sold during Earth Day.

LIVE IT is now Carbon Neutral, and we're celebrating this with a very special Earth Day event - Tickets for Trees.

Tickets For Trees will see LIVE IT plant a tree for every ticket sold on Earth Day by participating festivals through the LIVE IT platform - kicking off our scheme to offset our carbon emissions from operations and travel in earnest this Friday.

The scheme is made possible by LIVE IT's new partnership with Ecologi - which helps individuals plant a tree for free every day, or businesses to plant scores and become climate-positive workplaces.

Festivals signed up include Essex dance music giant We Are FSTVL, leading family festival Wychwood, and the UK’s number one Well Being and Nature based family festival Into The Wild.

Tickets for Trees and the Ecologi partnership are just two ways that we're reducing our environmental impact. We're also rolling out an Apple Pay/Google Wallet integration and other tools to help organisers cut down on paper tickets, doing away with our London office entirely, and hosting virtual reality meetings in the Metaverse to minimise travel.

"We're really excited about this initiative as it's not just great for our customers and clients, but also for our planet," said CEO Kenton Ward. "The more we can do to reduce our footprint, the better."  Ward was confident that this would be a successful move by stating that "we'll continue to work towards net zero emissions with everything we do".
