How do multi-language events work?
When setting up your event, you'll be asked which languages you would like your event to be available in. You can choose as many or as few as you'd like from the available list. English does not need to be selected.
Available languages as of 2023
English
Spanish
Catalan
Portuguese
French
Danish
Georgian
Latvian
Dutch
Slovak
Slovenian
When you select a language, it will enable separate tabs for editing certain aspects in different languages. E.g. the "about the event" page now has tabs where you can add information in the appropriate language:

It also enables a drop down in the top right hand corner of the booking page where users can select the language they would like to view the event in:

Note how selecting a language changes all of the LIVE IT platform language to that language, not just the information you edit. E.g. the information in the checkout, buttons, headers, the map, etc. E.g. a Georgian language page looks like this!

Best Practices
Make sure to go through each language tab on the event set-up and make sure each field is filled out - it is quite easy to miss things since each additional language essentially adds another version of the page to be set up.
Keep in mind that some elements such as ticket ticket type name are common across all languages, likewise language will not affect things such as discount codes or group deal configurations.
Google translate is pretty reliable these days, but remember to always translate you've run through it back as a way of double checking it makes sense.

Depending upon your territory, LIVE IT supports 135+ currencies, allowing you to charge customers in their native currency and avoid transaction fees.
